DJ Max Powers was without a doubt the best choice as the DJ for our wedding. Our wedding was comprised of my wife’s family from Nigeria & Ghana, my family from Liberia & our American friends. Max kept everyone entertained and on the dance floor.

He did a great job interweaving our requested songs with his own collection of fun tracks. He set up early and without any issues and was perfect with all of our guests. From our pre-wedding consultation sessions via Skype to our in person meetings, Max was always punctual and very easy to talk to. He’s very personable.

My only lament is that we don’t toss big events more that require a DJ. However, I highly recommend Max for any event (wedding, birthday party, etc). He’s simply fantastic!

I had the pleasure of using Max powers for my 60th Birthday Party on June 11,2011. There are no words in my vocabulary to tell you what a wonderful job he did. When I first contacted Max back in March I indicated to him that I thought he was a little pricey. His words to me were...you will not regret one dollar spent. Max was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. A lot of my guests were asking for his card. My sister from NC wanted to know if he would travel to NC. So if you need a DJ-MC for any type of event Max Powers should be at the top of your list. I am a real person and I sent in this comment. Should you want to speak with me private please ask Max for my email and I can share with you my experience. I printed an itinerary for Max for the evening with specific directions,times etc. My husband requested a change and Max said not unless Ms. D tells me to make a change. Max you were wonderful!!!!!

DJ Max was a pleasure to have for our wedding. He was a great value and a perfect fit with our budget.

We coordinated all of the music/schedule details via email and our wedding was a "smash hit." He was very responsive and took into account all of our requests, even our last minute changes.

Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception music went without a hitch. We got a bit off schedule during the reception (at no fault of DJ Max), but our guests couldn't even tell because DJ Max kept things moving smoothly. We accomplished everything on the schedule and our venue appreciated that we ended on time (with an bonus encore song).

Our dancefloor was full from beginning to end. I would recommend DJ Max to others. In fact, I believe one of our friends who is getting married got his business card at the end of the wedding and intends to use him.

DJ Max is very professional, interacts nicely with guests and would certainly be invited back for a repeat performance.  

We had a small wedding (60 people), varying music requirements and people of all ages.  He found the location without a problem (a bit obscure for most to find), was about 1 to 1.5 hours early, got his set up done without interruptions to the event and then managed timelines for everything following the ceremony/dinner.  

Without a doubt, I would recommend him.
